Free footie shaped mug - issues

I know there is a thread on this already but it seems to have gone off topic with alot of 'toilet humour', lol. Anyway just wanted to say I have got one of the footie mugs free with PG tips and hubby is complaining. Apparently because the mug is round and there is no lip on the top it is too hard to drink tea/coffee out of because you end up burning your lips. So much for my nice gesture getting him a free mug!
Anyone else had this trouble?
Do you think I should write and complain baring in mind it was free?
LOL

Its always worth complaining - but do it in a nice and friendly way. More like giving feedback. They provide freebies and money off vouchers more if you are not too abrupt.0

Yeah so buy them in asda, flog them on ebay and have a few quid mark up, buy enough and you could make some money, esp when they stop selling them, look at the walace and gromit mugs, they were going for about 20 quid :eek:Work like you don't need money,Love like you've never been hurt,And dance like no one's watchingSave the cheerleader, save the world!0 -

Believe it or not although the mug is free it is still governed by the same requirements under law that it be of merchantable quality and not injurious to health and you have the same rights as if you had purchased it as it was part of the offer to treat.Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0
