Isn't Scary Spice Mel B releasing a fitness DVD now? I'm not recommending it but it may be worth looking into.Minds are like parachutes - they only function when open.

Hi!
I love doing exercise DVDs, I've tried quite a few now. I think it depends how fit you are just now?
I love Davina's High Energy Five DVD ... you can pick and choose from the 5 sections which are about 15mins long each. You can just do one if you don't have time or are just getting in to exercise. Her new DVD is supposed to be her best one yet.
I also like Natalie Cassidy's DVD and Charlie Brook's, I like doing each DVD once a week for a bit of a change.
Davina's is more structured and there is a much better warm up and cool down and ab section. And I prefer Davina's trainers, Mark and Jackie, to Dee Thresher, who is a bit annoying.Save £4000 for tuition fees by Sept '09:rolleyes:Lose 2 stones by May:eek: -21lbs Get married for less than £5000 in May:smileyhea

I would also recommend Davina McCall's workout. I'm still using her 'Power of 3' workout which is a few years old now but it's an excellent workout (you will be in pain for about 3 days after you use if for the first time!). The power of 3 workout is split into 3 sections focusing on different areas of the body. The workout combines excersises on these specific areas with short bursts of cardio, so you burn fat as well as toning up. I haven't used Davina's new workout but I expect it'd be very effective also. The only downside is Davina really annoys me, but I just turn the volume down and stick on my ipod!0

Your local library may have a selection you could borrow to see if they are worth buying (or copying:D  !)0

I can vouch for that, did it on Saturday night (what a party animal I am!!!) and I've been walking like John Wayne all day!!! It was hard work in fact I had to quit halfway through the upper body section but then I'm not at all fit! I also bought the 30 min workout which I did on Friday which has an option to turn Davina off!!! I thought I would find her really annoying but I didn't, mind you after doing it a few times I guess I will. Seems like really good dvds just hope its worth it.....

Hi all
I've just bought a fitness DVD, quite an old one on ebay for £1.50, it's Mr Motivator's BLT workout which I thoroughly recommend. Each section is seven minutes long and there are eleven workouts. x 0 -
Yeah I have used Davinas power of three too and its very good, you can feel the results but you can take it at your own pace, can you dont have to do every section every time you excercise. The trainers are great but she annoys me!

Edit: I would loan one first from a friend or library as they are quite expensive if you use it only once cause its not your cup of tea.You can stand there and agonize........
