Hi,
I'm very new to eBay and would like some advice. I want to start up selling and making some extra money to keep me going as I don't have a lot of money at the moment.
I have no cash to invest with so how can I start an eBay business with no money?

What are your hobbies and interests? If you use them to your advantage, you might be able to snaffle unrecognised bargains and resell them with proper marketing.0

I started by buying collectables and antiques at charity shops and then selling them on for lots more. When I was fully into it I was making about £60 per week on ebay. But I have slowed down a bit now and am making more like £10 per week.2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040

If you have no money, a good way to start is just to take a look around and see what things you have in your home that you can sell (remember, what might be old junk to you, might be another person's treasure). Also, keep your eyes and ears open - if any friends/relatives mention that they are going to be chucking something away that could be sold, volounteer to sell it for them and split the profits. (relatives with babies/young kids, are especially good for this
).
Doing this will not only help you get used to selling things on eBay, build up your feedback, and be good experience, but it will also provide you with a bit of capital that you can then use invest in stock, etc. should you want to continue selling things on a regular basis.
To help keep costs down, recycle packaging. Keep any jiffy bags, boxes, Amazon 'wallets', etc. that you get through the post, and get larger boxes from Supermarkets, etc.
Hope that helps. Good luck.

yeah have a look if you have any toys you had as a kid. i dumped mine a year before starting ebay & was gutted as some were worth over £50 also i have just sold a book for £72 !!!!! that i bought for £2 .so spend an evening looking on ebay at things that you have or are of interest to you. click search completed listings for accurate prices as some shoot up at last minuite dramatically & this will get you an accurate view.0
