Default Savastore rips you off..

Hiya
Im using my girlfriends username because i cant remember mine........
Thought i should mention savastore have cheap prices so do ALOT of others, but the after sales is rubbishy do not go there, if you think there might be any problem with sending the parts back faulty or damaged in transit. They are not interested. You will have to threaten them with court action!! As i did.. Be Warned..

Give a man a free hand , and he`ll run it all over you

Hello,

I have also had problems with Savastore. They weren't the cheapest for the product, but I noticed the postage was cheaper than the nearest rival and so less overall. I regretted my smugness when the thing didn't show up despite being listed as 'fully shipped' and emailed the company to find out what was going on. No response after several attempts.

Then I noticed a tracking number on the order tracking system and checked the post office website. Apparently delivery had been attempted on time and the item returned to the depot. No card had been left, so I didn't realise until it was too late.

After more emails, I was finally told to expect delivery on the 7th and when it didn't show again, sent more emails and asked for a refund. Of course, it hadn't been sent. At this point there was a brief flurry of mails assuring me of dispatch in progress.

Anyway, long and boring story short, I now have a delivery card and will try to collect tomorrow - I WAS in, but postie didn't bother with my doorbell! Delivery problems weren't exactly Savastore's fault, but the after sales service is useless.

There's no customer service phone number - you have to email (I even tried the sales line, 0871 of course and got muzak!). They claim to reply to email in 24hrs - 2 weeks more like! I could have gotten the parcel the first time if I'd realised it was at the depot! No communication.

Rant ends.

Happiness is cheap!

Core blimey guyes. Here's an easy solution. If they sell white PSP's (importted and not available normally in the UK) don't trust them. Simple measure against dodgy dealers.

Savastore (aka Watford Electronics) after sales service sucks big time. If the item you ordered arrives intact and is working you will be fine, but any problems requiring after sales support and you will wish you had never heard of them. Just type savastore problem into google !!

give this guy an email

Peter Hills peter.hills@watford.co.uk
Customer Services

or Peter Brown peter.brown@watford.co.uk

they sent me an email entitled "FREE DIGITAL TV"
but gave details of a product -freecoms DVB-t usb stick - i could buy...
so i asked them how it was free were they giving them away ?

to be fair they responded within 12 hours...but didnt really answer my question

Quote:
You simply plug it in, configure the software and it will pick up freeview digital TV. The software also allows you to record digital TV and burn it to DVD so long as you have a DVDRW drive.

If you require any further information please feel free to come back to me.

Regards
wasnt really expecting it for free but they should consider the wording of their adverts better

I have now moved to work in the Greek Islands over the summer so will be unable to reply to personal messages
