just watched it, great vid

I will buy it when the song comes out

thanks to this site and consumeractiongroup I got back nearly 3 grand from barclays last year.

I also helped a friend who got back almost 4 grand from the HSBC, she then helped her friends aunty who got back 3.5 grand, I helped another friend get back £700 - Natwest, another got £140 from Barclays and another who got £80 from Halifax.

I always wanted to be a procrastinator, never got round to it...

I was just about to ask about where the 50p goes, but found this...

Quote:
The song has been priced to count as a real download for the charts. MoneySavingExpert.com is subsidising the text rates by 5p to keep the cost at 50p; and is also contributing to the marketing costs. Neither the record companies or the band are set to make any profit from this.

The 50p cost meets texting, distribution and money to Sony BMG which holds the rights of the original “I fought the law” song. The song will be at a higher price if people get it from iTunes at launch; and that excess goes to the retailer.
The song isn't bad by the way and would definitely get the message accross. I can't imagine Lloyds would be happy about it though.

This would almost definitely get a mention in the news too if it topped the charts. Gnarls Barkley did, so can't see why this wouldn't

Just one thing, do people *need* to download the song after texting? Or is texting enough to get the song in the charts?

I would love to grab a copy of this, but the texting order won't work for me since I don't have a mobile at the minute (being in another country and all that). Is there an option to pay by paypal or card, or if not will it be available on itunes or some other similar site?

Ta

*edit* Sorry ignore this, have just noticed the post above about being available on Itunes at launch. Sorry, a bit dim!
