another good scheme is somerfield. You have to have saved £29 by April and another£18 by November and you get £3 bonus giving you £50 for saving £47. This equates to 6% intrest I think. Maths was never my strong point.0

It is now too late for the Tesco Clucard Christmas saver bonus. I picked up a leaflet yesterday and it states:-
Points can be collected until 19th October 2009 and the last day for topping up is 16th October 2009.Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is not to stop questioning. Albert Einstein0 -
You can now register your Asda card online, so that if you lose it, any money you've put on there will be protected.

ive been saving money on my asda savings card- a fiver here and there- i should have about 100 pounds ish by christmas- like everyone else have been buying tins etc already but this will go on luxuries and fresh stuff. My mum has been collecting money with tesco's so we will have a wee bit of choice this year. Its something my mum has done for years with various supermarkets and shes always on at me to do it- so this year i went for it, and i havent missed the money- just always adding a fiver when i go shoppingNow im debt free i want to be fat free too!0

I visited my nearest Morrisons store to buy the requisite £97 in stamps in order to qualify for the £3 bonus. None of the saver cards on dislay in the store made any reference to the bonus. Thinking I had left it too late I enquired at the checkout and was given the correct card from a pile hidden behind the till. Just beware that the card you get is marked on the front "up to £3 free in saver stamps".0

Asda savings cards
Which of the many Asda savings cards is the correct one to qualify for the savings bonus. I used the scheme last year and if I can remember correctly it was a reddish card with decoration.
Do the other cards attract a bonus.
Has anyone confirmed the Asda bonus date. I was led to believe that it was a week earlier than the one stated in the article on the main site.

What is the bonus date for a Christmas Savings Card?
For 2009 the bonus date is Monday 23rd November.0 -
I just bought a Christmas savings card from Asda. But I was surprised to read in the t&c that the total value must be redeemed before 31 Dec for the bonus to be applied. This doesn't make sense and there's nothing about this in the t&c on the website. Can anybody clarify?0

I just got one - they said I could take any of the gift cards from the stand, the maximum is £144 and I would get £6 overnight tonight. The CSA said the money can be spent any time.
The card I chose doesn't mention Xmas savings, it says the maximum is £500 however the receipt says "savings/gift £144" so maybe the two are interchangable?
I'll be annoyed if the £6 doesn't go on tonight though!0
