anyhoo......
Broke..I had a FTF interview a few years ago when I declared BR it really is nothing to be worried or scared about (and i'm THE worlds worse worry wart...i'll worry if i've nothing to worry about!) if anything I preferred the face to face contact then they could see how I reacted and I could get my points across better...they understand you'll be nervous they allow for that along with regular breaks if you need...although my FTF only lasted about half an hour..We all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0 -

Please if you think of any other tips let me know.
I will be interviewed in London- if that helps.
The guy didnt sound like i was just picked up randomly for training etc.
It sounded like he was literally took my file showed it to the examiner and called back within 10 minutes to invite me in literally within 4 days.
i know i know i should stop being paranoid, i know its not a jail sentence but the trauma of being told of after the trauma of going to court and declaring myself bankrupt and than the trauma of potentially my work finding out and then a possible of bru for 15 years means i might as well stop hoping for a brighter future now- because my most productive years will be restricted by all this and it sure feels like a sentence
sorry
hi broke
try not to worry (easier said than done, i have a gold medal in worrying!)
i guess the advantage of a f2f is that they can read your expressions and will know you're genuine, and you can read theirs too. it will all be over soon...chin up0 -

You're playing a silly game on a thread which is about someone who is really worried about her face to face interciew, you were the one that wrongly suggessted she didn't have to turn up. Now please can you leave it, Phil is trying to move it on to what it should be about. Why can't you respect that.

It appears I've thanked your post 3 clicks. You do not have my support on this I have found you to be rather rude to me and my help on another thread, we're here offering help and advice, if you can't do that please leave. I won't be adding any more to this thread other than to help the OP, I think we'll let you have the last word and then maybe you'll go.. very silly behaviour0

3c it seems your somewhat new to this forum. I advise you to be patient and keep reading to get a feel for how it works. Your advice and experience is welcome and aprreciated as is everyone elses, but you must understand that this forum is a life line to a lot of people who are in some cases at their wits end. THis is why we rely and trust the long term posters in their veiws and advice because a F2F interview may hav been somehing you handled in your stride but for some it may have had devasting effect on other BRs, mind and maybe body, that sounds OTT but we really don't know so we must be careful to get correct information out there so people can find it useful.
You post and Iagree with MicheH you have post some flippant post on this and other threads, it may not be you fault as it is your veiw and oppinion but someone reading them may see it very differently.
I'm not having a go and I hope we can move on and get back to the OP but I do advise we all think before we post (and that includes me).0 -

Thanks everyone that have taken the time to advise/reassure me.
Sometimes we can get things wrong coz we are human, sometimes we have to humble ourselves and accept that we are/were wrong and sometimes we have to let other people know that they are wrong in the most supportive way we can.
After all we have/are all learning something from all this.
So guys and girls please lets keep on the good work we/I need you!
Interviews on wednesday
So i am gonna be honest, as strong as I can be and hope for the best!
In the meantime I can going to be bricking it, thinking the worse and have sleepless nights (hence me being up at this time)
But you know what i am greatfull that I got a strong bunch of people on here on my side.
Thanks guys

Hiya Broke,
Try & rest....after all `you are where you are` in terms of the bankrupcy & no amount of worrying will make the slightest difference so just get on with the next few days. Wednesday will come & go before you know it.
Post any burning questions on here & please make sure you let us know how it all goes.
Take care,

Hi all,
I was declared on the 19th of October.....
Had an F2F scheduled on Monday (9th) but have swine flu!!!!! On top of all the stress....
I tried ringing the local centre but had an answer machine saying they opened at 09:00 the call was at 09:15 and nobody answered.
Needless to say I am in such a physical state I didn't go....hmmm maybe I should have gone and shared the flu? lol (Should I get a doctors paper backing this up?)
Anyway.......I had a very stroppy letter (first class) from them today (10th) saying if I do not attend the next one on the 24th they will have me examined publicly in court......
To be very honest I have battled to get myself out of this situation for two years now (Was self employed - had a recruitment agency and setup a factoring agreement without any invoice insurance.....given very bad advice and the clients decided I had broken the t's and c's so they wouldn't pay up, as I was the guarantee it meant they chased me for £24k I managed to get it down to £12k but then the recession blah, blah, blah you know the rest lol)
I am getting a bit fedup of it all now and just want it over with and having read through this thread it seems they have called me as I was self employed.
What my question is......Do you have to declare absolutely everything to the or? What are they able to find out or not as the case maybe? Does anyone know?
Don't get me wrong I have nothing to offer them...I have gone back to University to do a PGCE and only have £700 bursary a month (although I am sure they will want some of that?)
Thanks
