Here's the story.
Back in January i was looking for some King's of Leon tickets, i searched all the usualls (ticketmaster, etc) and couldn't get any. I Eventually came accross https://www.tickettout.com. i bought 4 tickets and the total came to £145.A couple of days later i received a phone call from them saying that the site couldn't process maestro cards and that i wouldn't be charged and i wouldn't get the tickets. I actually asked him to confirm that they wouldn't charge me and he said they wouldn't. Fast forward to today when my bank statement comes through my door. The theivin gits have took £145 off me on the 20th Feb  I'm so pi**ed off! i've sent them an email. what else can i do?

I assume the gig has gone by or you have bought the tickets else where?
You can log the transaction as unauthorised with your card issuer saying you withdrew authorisation during your phone call but as it was a debit rather than credit card your level of protection is lower.
I must say though... whilst I am sure they are trying to humorous with their site name, calling themselves touts doesnt inspire confidence. All posts made are simply my own opinions and are neither professional advice nor the opinions of my employers

Ticket Tout Ltd was set up 10 days after Get-me-tickets was closed down by the Department for Trade and Industry because the company did not appear to have sufficient tickets to supply all its customers who had ordered and paid for tickets.Ex forum ambassador

Hi i got a letter this morning saying tickettout in administration and would not be receiving tickets or a refund for £145 of my chemical romance tickets for 22 Mar. I paid by visa electron so contacted barclays. They have said if you paid by credit card you should claim from credit card company HOWEVER if you paid by debit card and have the administration letter the bank can legally claim the money back and it will be returned to your bank in 7 - 10 days. She assured me I would definately get the money and all I have to do is sign an authorisation form and send it back with a copy of the administration letter. Barclays sending neccessary form today.
I will beleive it when the money is in my bank but in the mean time anybody that paid by debit card it may be worth phoning your bank.0 -
sites like these are never going to be great . i hope it all works out for you all
