So what happened to pipeline? (the petrol card scheme)

Sorry if this is the wrong section, but just curious, what happened to the pipeline scheme? It seemed like it was getting popular (a long time ago now) and then all of a sudden it died off.
Its the scheme whereby they were trying to create a card which would give people discounts on their petrol.
It wasn't a scam or anything was it? I'm pretty sure it was endorsed by this site even, getting some info in the weekly email.

should of been called pipe dream0

Perhaps it should have been called scamster.com after owner. All that seems to have been achieved is the odd email selling stuff, surprise surprise, nice useful database with all or details perhaps to sell on to a interested party, who knows.
Yes just a pipe dream0 -
Last email was December promising"... definitely be able to announce details of the actual Pipeline Card early in the New Year ... "
I've just dropped him an email pointing to this thread
Come on Ben - defend your corner!
I've not had any spam emails using the unique address I use for Pipeline - so I don't think that's his motive0 -
I was just thinking the same thing. Petrol is nearly £1 per litre and nothing is happening.Kind Regards

in the meantime,https://www.petrolprices.com helps get the cheapest petrol in your area.
a bit of a shame that he didn't reply to your email after such a long time. i think i will be asking for my details to be removed from the database!:happyhear0 -
I used to get email from the pipeline thing I subscribed to but after a while I realised it was just saying you may be interested in this or that so blocked the sender. If the petrol companies can make billions when they say most of the price is government taxes then just how much are we paying the government in fuel taxes just to go nowhere fast0
