Hi to everyone who has dropped in
We have all escaped to the sun and have thoroughly enjoyed the first few days of our holiday. It was all a bit of a rush what with exam results, work being manic and trying to prepare for hols.
We slept for 15 hours non stop on the ferry, so I guess this demonstrates how weary we all were
However, the sun has been marvellous, much jumping in the pool and DD and I are heading off to the beach early tomorrow and leaving the boys to chill in the garden.
It's hard to describe how much we all love it here - the garden is a truly splendid place and unbelievably restorative.
Mr T is chilled, DD is relaxing as I type and DS is in the pool.
I haven't Tilly Tidied at all, I have booked a S&S holiday, have used vouchers for dinner the night we left and still have some for another meal.
Have I thought about work - no - not one jot
We are so close to the next chapter in our lives, I can't wait.
We have aubegines, tomatoes, onions, chilli, tomatoes, peppers, garlic ready to pick in the garden.
DD is planning what we need to do when we return home - she's so looking forward to Uni and her new chapter - it's infectious :):)
Right,I'd better made the salad.
Night, Tilly

Ach! Tills - worry not, check out the link when you're back - it's only to the post #2819 (the one above yours) on my thread anyway. You will find it super dooper interesting (only when you're back in circulation - NOT before!) because of the sort of person that you are, and because of the thing that you did with the FB donation!
Tills, enjoy your hols, and I look forward to hearing all about it - when you return

So glad you are enjoying your holiday.
What you said about being so close to the next stage in your life.... That really strikes a chordEarly retired - 18th December 2014

So glad you are enjoying your time in the sun! What a difference it makes to our quality of life! I often think I could be poor BUT if only I could be warm each day and enjoy a glass of wine outside in the evenings without the aid of a patio heater! Y'all have a great time!

Oh, you already are :rotfl:.
So glad to hear Miss T planning. What a difference a year makes - I remember her getting her AS results  .A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0"Do what others won't early in life so you can do what others can't later in life"0 -
