I think it goes in earlier although if it is a first time, then I could anticipate delay.0

payments due on a bank holiday are processed early and will be paid the day before so if you are due on Friday (or Monday) it will go in Thursday; the jobcentre should have advised you of this when you signed, as some people will also be excused attendance if their signing day is Friday or Monday0

I know payments for sign ons next week are being set up today so they are not delayed. They even gave me a letter to that effect when I signed on last week.0

Hi. I signed on on tuesday last week and still have not recieved any JSA paid yet.!!!! anyone else had the same problem? Will i recieve it late tomorrow?0

nickrtaylor, your benefit should have been cleared by your bank by last Thursday (presuming you don't receive a giro payment by post). You will need to contact JCP to see why it hasn't been paid (missed evidence or sanction)0

It took twelve weeks for me to get my first payment, so I wouldn't expect anything in one week."There is no medicine like hope, no incentive so great, and no tonic so powerful as expectation of something better tomorrow." - Orison Swett Marden0 -
I signed on earlier and they advised it will be in my account Thursday.0
