    That's a lot of socks Mummyof5

Have had a steady stream of visitors dropping off cards for Ds1 (16 today).
Thanks to you all, I wasn't ashamed of the mess. It's not perfect but lived in.

Popped out to buy snowsuit for Ds2. Bought 2 sizes for him to try on. It looks like the trousers from 6-8 and the jacket from 9-10 will fit. So may have to take both sets back.

BG had no record of my appointment to fix a radiator so also went to visit my parents.

Sofa throw washed and in TD thanks to Miss Muddy Paws.

Loft is being reinspected at 3pm so may as well do a HHC until then. Join me if you wish.

Right I'm going to do a bin bag dance and see how quickly I can fill it. If I go in DD's room it will probably take less than 5 mins!

Get well wishes for all feeling poorly

    Happy birthday to Mr LW

Not an overly successful Christmas shop but a few more bits got. Plan is to go again on Friday.

Need to pop into our town now to collect DS1's present and then I'll do dinner.

Echoing Dusty's Happy Birthday wishes to Mr LW.

Stairs done top to bottom (and a couple of hard to reach places) with fabby new machine and bags ordered for the future. Superking mattress vacuumed both sides and bed remade. I've also retuned the TV to receive TV rather than just radio, following a techincally minded lodger stayed there in October (2011) who fiddled with it. No-one's complained! I'm sick of not being able to watch it while I do the room, so I got the instructions out, having asked OH to sort it out every time we've turned the room around since then. Turns out it's not as difficult as I thought. (as in blowing my own)

Dog finally surfaced at 3.30 pm. She's been walked, did what she had to do and has had three lots of medicine and ahem breakfast.
    Better is good enough.

Clean any jewellery to make it sparkle don't wear jewellery

So tomorrow is swimming day, and while it hasn't snowed here, we're are forecast to drop to -5 tonight  and possibly snow and wind tomorrow. We won't be going out if we don't have to, assuming it is as bad as forecast. Hence the quick stop at tosco for bread and eggs :o

So, swimming seems unlikely, we may put the tree up and make mince pies instead :D

And many happy returns Mr LW
