I remember watching your big break on This Morning! i had no computer in those days but purchased one a month later just to sign up! Then there was a mix up and we all had to rejoin the forum again. I remember you used to reply to our questions personally..(well you did to me!). Bet you didn't imagine your little site would become what it is now.
You've improved my life imeasurably throught this site in that time Martin and everyone I've consequently gone on to help. Thank you, thank you, thank you! :T

Martin (but my thanks are to you all at MSE),
You absolutely saved me about 7 years ago from allowing the downward spiral of my debt to continue.
I turned a corner and have not stopped using this website since.
In the space of the last four or five years:- I have cleared over £30,000 of debt (including paying off the car)
- Cleared the final £5,000 of my student loan
- Saved over £22,000 to put the deposit down on my first property, which I bought last November
- Now put away over £500 a month in savings to do with as I please (well, I'm saving for an extension)
My sincerest thanks :T0 -

Seems we've all done well in saving money, but not quite as well as Martin, how much did he make out of it, i wish i'd thought of the idea first.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.
