Whilst I was editing my post we may have crossed posts twirly...jusy because your ring does'nt have a picture in it doesn't mean its not real...
Ive got a ring that was purchased in Dubai with very little hallmark..but its very genuine!!!
If you ever become slightly unsure the gold can be tested to put your mind at rest...the british standard hallmark can only be stamped on rings made in the UK ...a lack of hallmark in the british sense means that the ring was made to the gold standard of the country it was made in...each counrty has its own guidelines so there will be variance...frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

Twirly is there a diamond in your ring or another precious stone? Maybe that's what the 0.12 relates to? (of a carat?)
I have 'DIA' stamped inside mine as well as the usual hallmark.Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
there is a tanzanite and four small baguette diamonds. All it says inside is 9k and then further round 0.12:
My other ring on the other hand says 18C then some sort of too small to see symbol then PLAT. So thats fine.saving up another deposit as we've lost all our equity.

The 0.12: probably relates to the carat of the stones then.
Just googled and found these as an example : http://www.coolrocks.co.uk/18ct-Diamond-0.12pt-Flower-Stud-Earrings.htmlTank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
Its my guess that your ring is fine twirly....if its got some markings on then they conform to where the ring originated from....remember just because it was bought in the UK doesn't mean that it was made here...it could have been imported. tanzanite is a beautiful stone thats not native to the UK...its possible that the stones were set into gold before they were shipped acrossfrugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!
