    2 yrs after that initial post - you don't think sky would of rearranged their numbers several times?

    Hi all, Ive had a sky tv subscription a few times in a few different homes. All the people i know have all said they've had discounts from sky tv by simply asking for them or for "threatening" to cancel their subscription.

    Everytime I've called sky to ask for a discount at the end of my contract, they have flatly said no. Everytime i've said its too expensive is there anything you can do, they said yes, we can put you on the lowest package with no free channels or anything. And everytime ive "threatened" to end my contract they simply replied with, please do so in writing, sir.

    Never got a free anything from sky tv! Rubbish!

    Just to remind everyone
    If you have Sky, you can add broadband to it and Skytalk at no extra cost.
    If you have Skytalk the calls (the 0844 number) to Sky are free

    So you can have all the above (basic package) for £16.50
    If you change your line rental to SKy it is £10 per month. I think BT is £11.75 but a price rise is also imminent with BT
    make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
    and we will never, ever return.

    this is the local number for sky customer services so you wont be charged their premium rates when using your included minutes on your mobile phone.

    I have just find this out on the website of saynoto0844(02079799500),called it and it was engage,asked to leave my number for a call back but did not............will have to call later.
    if it works for you lets us know.
