  • Has anyone had their sat nav converted to a dvd player? Apparently it is an easy fix.

    any links to this?

My husband has also just bought a 3 year old CRV and the satnav is horrendous. It sends him in the wrong direction all the time. perhaps the modern upgrade software is better. Did anyone have any ideas on finding it cheaper?

Buy a map and plan ahead, maybe...?!

Ditch the inbuilt and get a tomtom
  • i wouldnt bother, roads dont change that much, use a bit of common sense if the road appears to have changed, besides it will always reroute you

In all fairness, the Honda ones ARE fantastic! They are very easy to use and I love the way it's all touch screen and doubles up as a DVD player :)

I got one for my crv off ebay. its a copied disc, and its a 2007, my CRV is an 04reg.
It works fine, so try there!

    So it's an illegal copy?

I'd just buy a stand alone Sat Nav. You can get a decent Tom Tom or Gramin for around £100 with up to date maps.
It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die

  • Try the link below, they have got updates for all makes.

"www satnav-discs.com" £39.99 - make sure you select the correct version for your car. Honda CRV 02 - 06 is Option 1

Why would someone who already owned an original disc then want to spend £22 to get hold of an illegal counterfeit copy?
