Third Party Recovery o/s - what does it mean?

Hi

Apologies f this is a daft question but whilst looking at forms online, i have o fill in sections where an accident has happened - but i am not sure what the "Third Party Vehicle/Object hit you - recovery o/s" means - namely the "o/s" bit.

Any ideas? I think it apples not sure though - circumstances were that it was the third parties fault, though they disputed it, the policy was 3rd party fire and theft, and the no claims discout was protected and still is.

Thanks

Outstanding ? I.e. they have not recovered money from the 3rd party so "recovery is outstanding".
    Not even wrong

It does mean "Outstanding", i.e that a third party is at fault but the claim hasn't been settled yet.
