    They have a special offer on HP printer ink today..... WAS £35.99 now £35.98............. you save........ 1p.

    Big thank you :beer:, just been to my local Mr T and got the stig socks for 1p :money:..... bought 4 pairs but plenty left on the shelf :D

    the stig socks were they marked up at a higher price or did it actually say 1p on them?

    Yes, sorry, marked up at £2. We've got a price-checker scan thingy at our store so I popped along to the aisle where it is and double checked before I went through checkout.

    I must have looked a bit of a wally though as I took 3 umbrellas with me and scanned them too :o :rotfl:, I wasn't sure which ones were going through at 1p but none of the ones I had in my trolley did. :(

    F&F Signature 2 pack of 40 denier black knee highs
    Blk / white / grey packaging with a pair of womans legs on
    Was £2.50 full price, marked down to £1.25. scanned at 1p.
    Then had an argument with Sales assistant who wouldnt let me have them. So I went and got some more and took them through self scan!
    If anyone finds a 1p item take them thru self scan as otherwise you may get the argument i got!

    They're black socks with a image on the side that is or looks vaguely like the stig from BBC Top Gear.

    Would it be possible for people to post the barcodes please? Would make it easy for people without a pricechecker machine in their store.

    found some of the stig socks, thankyou. checkout operator wouldnt let me have them at 1p, luckily only taken 1 pair to check out. I went round again & paid at the self service :D

    I was told all 1p items are given to charity. She also said there were lots of 1p items going through the tills.
