Hi everyone does anyone know where i can get a free history check on a second hand car. Be very grateful for your help.

    Have never found a full history check for free one but you can check some of the car details here

    There is a list of those you have to pay for here

    And a decent guideline on buying a car here

    You can get a free ID check from HPI which will give you basic details here (they charge £39.95 for a full check):

    There is also a check for £9.95 at:

    but I can't vouch for them.

    I found one from the local newspaper once which cost a £5 txt, but came back with reliable info (one turned out to be a write off!)

    Was just looking for something like this myself, the sad thing is it doesnt cost the company you pay to check it anything at all. is it even really worth checking? im buying a yaris not sure if thats relevant
