Which Nationwide Branch Am I with ?

When setting up Direct Debit etc from my FlexAccount I get asked which Branch am i with and I never know. On my card it says Brancn 0572 but which branch is this ? Is there anyway of finding out?

    Just enter that I guess.
    Mine was setup via intenet banking so i have a number of 0765 and i just use the address on my statement.

    ask nationwide- they have a list.

    I'm not sure whether it matters too much which branch address you put down. I opened my Flexaccount via the internet but I always put the address of my local branch when completing direct debit forms. Never had a problem with doing this.

    I had the same quandary. On checking, the address that Hazzanet posted or the address that appears on the top right of your statement are both acceptable,according to BT direct debit dept it's the sort code thats important(which left me wondering why they need the address?)

    My NW branch address is printed on my statements. I have been told that you can put the Head Office address and that will be fine.

    That, I'm afraid I don't know. I have two Flex Accounts - One prefixed 0572, which was opened online and is based at Electra House which I worked near, and the other is prefixed 0435 which is Swindon Regent Street.

    If in doubt with Nationwide, you're fine to just put the generic address:

    PO Box 8888
    Swindon
    SN3 1TS

    Most companies now key their own DD's through AUDDIS, so in theory the address will come up as PO Box 8888 by simply entering the sort-code 07-01-16.
