My tiscali inbox is now full with almost 7000 emails and I would like to know if there is any way of deleting them all in one go.
The only way I can find to delete them is to select a page of emails at a time but this will take ages.

So which email program are you using?

I suspect the OP is talking Tiscali webmail...0

I started using a windows live email address a few months ago and was able to have my emails at tiscali forwarded to me.
I delete all unwanted emails that are forwarded but today I had an email stating that my inbox was full.
This is actually the inbox for my tiscali email address which I can view on the talktalk website and shows as having almost 7000 emails in it.
I can select all emails on each page to delete but as there are only 15 emails per page I would have to access approx 500 pages.0 -
Tiscali probably devised their webmail in an era when people only got about 2 emails a day...
Any option to delete the entire inbox and then create a new one?No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
Thanks Macman, I think I've solved the problem.
There is an option on the talktalk website to autoforward emails to another address.
I have selected this and it appears that the emails are not kept in my tiscali inbox.
99% of the emails are junk but there are still some that are important.0 -
When you set it up to forward, whether to POP3 email or to another webmail address, there is normally an option either to delete the emails or leave them on the webmail server. However that may not remove emails already in your inbox. No free lunch, and no free laptop0

When you are logged into Tiscali, and have your inbox on screen, click on the 'settings' link. Here you can alter it to show 200 emails at a time on screen. These can be selected and deleted at once. It would still take 35 goes to clear all 7000 but not as bad as before. Once they are in 'trash' clicking on empty will permanently delete the lot in one go.
