    On top of my letter re my current loan & PPI (with one of the supermarkets), I've also got one letter nearly finished to go to my bank.

    Should I use the head office address on your list above, send it to my local branch or send it to both? In the letter, I'm asking them for paperwork. I've got reference numbers, but can't lay my hands on the original loan agreements to double check the figures, etc, so need them to send me some copies. I've got some old loans with them going back 8-10 years with them which were probably mis-sold, but also one which I settled within the past six years. Presumably my local branch would be best to access this kind of info? I could then use the head office address for the claim itself?

    It does help, due to all the different addresses for these banks.

    Some do actually take to the local bank and request for this to be faxed through, if they do this make sure you get some sort of receipt.

    However, is entirely up to you if you want to send to both just in case.

    If you do post directly to them, its best to post by using recorded delivery to ensure they have received the item, where you can check the tracking down on the Royal Mail website.
