Time Delay Night Serum was £12, then £11.74, but is now available in stores for £6. If you take this to a manned till (it won't work on SS), and point out that your Skinnie (voucher) is valid for this, because it isn't cleansing, so meets the criteria, they will stare at it very closely , but you just smile brightly and they will, eventually, over-ride it. :j
For all you Bright Young Things, this will cost you £1, and you'll earn 24p in points, because, due to the over-ride transaction, the points are based on the till price of £6, so that's a BLC (Boots Logic Cost) of 76p.
But when it comes to the over 60s, because they have to over-ride it, they take the discount prior to deducting the voucher. So 10% of £6 is 60p, leaving £5.40, less your Skinnie, means you pay 40p. :j
Us oldies are then given points on £5.40:- 5 x 4p = 20p, so we've had to pay a BLC of 20p for a £12 cream! Simples! :T

Blimey, your thanks count is HUGE.
Well, in The Olden Days, when we had the Grabbit thread, I often used to get 50 plus thanks for a post, recounting my Jolly Days Out, or writing a poem etc.
But this went against the grain with Some People, who only wanted glitches, glitches and more glitches!
But it's nice to be able to say, conversationally, when on the bus, or in the Sainsbury queue "Do you know I have a huge thanks count on MSE" - it leaves folk very impressed!!!!

Sandra, it looks like you took your eye off of the ball for some of your posts. It appears that you weren't thanked for 12 of them.
I've got a good mind to find them and thank each of them just so you are thanked for all of your posts.
Keep up the good work - the reason this forum works so well is because of people like you.0 -

Or Not !
Unfortunately my boots stores just go by the what the till says.
If the till says no - end of story.
I will give it a try if I see some, but just thought I would pre-warn less experienced Bootsers, that these glitches are often down to luck and determination.
Luck on who is on the till etc,
and determination....do you want to keep trying at different tills and on different days if you get refused first time:cool:0 -
I have a few vouchers to use up. Does anyone know what the cheapest thing the coupon will scan on is?

Think it's the Olay face wash @ £5.86 so only 86p to pay. Do try the Time Deay Radiance Booster thought, it's an extra 98p but sooo worth it! You use it as a mask or under makeup a la Beauty Flash Balm and it is fab!!!!!

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to go back and find those 12 posts and rectify the error :rotfl:Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?
