Do any charities take big old TVs?

I have a big TV to get rid of, one of those original flat screen ones from about 10 years ago, similar to the one in this link:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Panasonic-Quintrix-36-flat-screen-television-TX36PF10-/271143106063?pt=UK_AudioTVElectronics_Video_Televisions&hash=item3f2163760f
It's in perfect working order and was in daily use until last week, so it doesn't seem right to take it to the tip, but I'm not sure what else to do with it.
No-one seems to want these at home any more as they are so bulky, so I wondered if any charities would use them?
Thanks!

BHF I think:

I've certainly seen them for sale in their shops.Stompa0 -
Not many charities take any electrical items, they'd need someone to check them out for safety, Try Freecycle, or if you've got a battered wives home (Rescue) women there have often escaped with all their worldly goods in a binbag and need everything they can get when they find themselves a flat.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.

BHF do have specialist furniture & electricals shops if there is one nearby.Public appearances now involve clothing. Sorry, it's part of my bail conditions.0

most charities will take them if they have a scart socket and remote, we p.a.t test them before sale0

as Sailorsam says, Freecylce might be an option or you could try Freegle, Gumtree, Streetbank or Preloved0

thanks everyone, will try BHF first as we have a big shop near us.0

Not much demand for analogue TV's these days...No free lunch, and no free laptop0
