    Hi there

looking to buy from these guys, the Yamaha sound projector and wanted to know if they are any good to buy from.

I bought a wireless card from them recently. Despite the negative comments about this company I still orderd though them as they were almost £20 cheaper.

It arrived quickly a few days later with no problems whatsoever

Thanks again for the comments everyone.

I'll be spending £600+ with them so obviously I'm keen to ensure I dont get the run around.

I have similar prices for the Yahama Sound projector from Digital direct, Sound & Vision and Pixmania

Lasky's who again I've never heard of do a price match but wouldnt drop the £60 to meet the Best price

and comet have the item but not in Black at a decent price, cheapest there is £999 for the black one and £699 for the silver. But my other half wants the black one as it'll go with the rest of his kit!

I got a data projector from them about a year ago - no probs at all. The cheapest place, and no hassle. but after reading other people's experiences, I'm thinking phew, I must have been lucky! Check out specialist forums for what you're buying. There is an AV (audio visual) forum somewhere (which helped me decide which model to buy) - plus people on these kind of forums are often updating their 'stuff' and selling their present 'stuff'.

I bought a fridge through them. Same price as Currys. Their customer service was awful, and they refused to pay the commission (rpoints or quidco, can't remember which). In the end it was delivered by Currys. It would have been easier to have just bought it direct!

Camera came with a manual in French, and they refused to send me an English one. Admittedly it did say it was French on the website, but on a page with 2,749 other words in small print on it.

Plus, they only appear to post positive reviews to their site......negative reviews and negative ratings they just ignore.

Personally, they were great to deal with for us. We bought an LCD TV for circa £750 which was at least £300 cheaper than other retailers at the time.

Delivery was on time and product was fine, had to do the normal checks with ID, etc, but didn't mind this as this was good protection as far as I was concerned.

Understand people have had a bad experience with them, but got to say that is a total contrast to our experience.

They adopt a typical French customer service ethos i.e none! I've shopped with them a few times and had no problems, though I could always go and bang on their front door if there was :D
