    The initial welcome pack comes straight away (you don't have to wait for your child's birthday). I received mine no more than a week after applying, and it included:

    - Personalised certificate
    - Badge
    - 17 min cartoon on dvd
    - 2013 catalogue

    My stepson's birthday isn't until Feb, so they'll send more out then (and apparently a card at Christmas too) :)
