I am looking to buy two tickets to BRAZIL flying in December.

The best price i could find is from this company http://www.9flights.co.uk/contactus.aspx

I have been unable to find any online reviews which worries me a little.

Has anyone got any experience of this company?

    Hi Syman,

    That website has a live chat facility. I've been hanging on for a response now for almost twenty minutes and so I think they most definitely are not genuine.

    Eek! I've just handed over £470 for a flight to 9flights.co.uk which is non-refundable. I did it on debit card as credit card bookings had a 2% fee. I've got email confirmation, and their site is full of numbers/emails to contact - but it doesn't seem the most professional set-up. Poor spelling etc.

    Beginning to panic now and can't attempt to contact them til the morning. Has anyone had any experience of using this company?

    I've had no experience of 9flights but I would endeavour to get hold of them first thing this morning if were you. There website is very unprofessional looking. Spelling mistakes a-plenty. What form of debit card did you use? If you used visa, you should be ok if there are any issues as they operate in a similar way to that of a credit card.

    Hi Syman, To be honest, i would only worry about this company as much as i would worry about any not seriously well known travel company at the moment with the way things are going. These do have an address you can contact....

    So late last night I got a booking confirmation and a link to an e-ticket, which I've printed out and all looks fine.

    On the e-ticket the name of the company is Crystal Travel, who appear to be one of the companies set up by ATOL member Moresand. I found a page of reviews on Review Centre for Crystal Holidays. Most of the reviews are very negative.

    Reading the reviews, I think most people posting on there are talking about Crystal Travel, rather than Crystal Holidays (who are a renowned ski specialist and probably the subject of the bottom few reviews). When you search for 'Crystal Travel reviews' in Google, this series of reviews comes up - and then people probably just start typing away.

    I just spoke to the man at 9Flights who confirmed the booking was all fine, that they did not need copies of my passport, utility bill etc (which they randomly ask for - not sure why) and that the money would be taken from my Visa Debit card today. Once the money's gone, I'll phone the airline to double-check I actually have a seat on the flight.

    So at the moment all is ok, but I'm still not 100% confident I'm not being ripped off..!

    Seems all is okay. Which airline are you travelling with? Might be worth sticking the passenger reference number (PNR) into the airlines website.

    Thanks Cactusdust. I've just done that - with Jet Airways - and my booking is there, confirmed. Phew! I'm so glad. Was worried for a bit there.

    Ive just booked a flight to kathmandu via Delhi thu Crystal Travel. Same time delay with confirmation and same sense of unprofessionalism. You remain happy hjf456 with your transaction? I am promised eticket tomorrow.
