I think their Turkey Crowns are ony £9.99 which is a good price, not sure of the weight though.

Does the four bird roast contain stuffing? And what are the four birds?

Squinting to read the writing on the pic in the Aldi mag but it says on the packaging:

Layers of Chicken, Turkey, Duck and Goose breast with a pork sage and onion stuffing and bacon.

Includes a sachet of marmalade glaze to compliment the flavours.

    ;)

    Just found this: http://www.aldi.co.uk/uk/html/product_range/product_range_27609.htm

I've actually been pleasantly surprised at how little Aldi prices have increased over the last year, at least for the items I buy.

What is the point of putting up random products and prices with no other information. I've seen plenty of bouquets of flowers for much more than £15, it depends what flowers are in the bouquet.

A copy of the brochure is available here:
    http://catalog.aldi.com/core/main.php?&SITEID=9e8b6&PROJECTNR=10824&PHPSESSID=fc7c39fad9d7cf7dc870a4c2dd37ae3b

The turkey, for example, is an Ultimate Pure Breed British Roly Poly Hen Turkey, not instore until 19 Dec

It is a Norfolk grown product where the bird is free to roam through the woodlands and flower pastures, protected by gamekeepers ... until it is 4.0kg to 5.9kg in weight where it it killed to adorn your Christmas dinner table.

Sounds cheap to me for such a premium product.
If you want one, I suggest you camp out from the 18th as I doubt they'll have many of these in each store ... unless those woodlands and flower pastures of Norfolk have grown overnight to the size of France!

The £15 flowers are a Premium Christmas Bouquet available in Red or White (from Dec 10th) and includes premium stems such as Rose and Lilly.
I reckon my local florist would charge at least £25 for something similar, and that is ignoring any possible Christmas time mark-up.
Stick to your local filling station if you want a cheap bunch of flowers.

I'm no wine boffin, but Aldi do a great range of party wines for £2.99 a bottle.
If you want quality wine, I suggest you go to a specialist wine purveyor, not a supermarket, and especially not a discount one!

Aldi's small fresh chickens have increased from £2.59 to £2.99 in the last few weeks. Other than this particular size of chicken, everything else I buy hasn't increased lately:o

Aldi avacado from 78p to 95p but as long as they are still cheaper than the others I still love Aldi and Lidl.

As always cutting back not cutting out.
