    Well I havent been on for a while, life has changed for me since last posting! I am now in a relationship, which I thought would never happen due to my illness, although I am now cured but I thought I'd never have the courage to try again..... Very happy but also very busy, which is why i have been absent for a while. I will catch up soon, I need to relook at finances!!!!

    Well I appear to have reduced my debt even without trying too hard, by a whopping £3110 in the last 5 months.
    The down side is that I now have two missed payments and the impact of having to go part time at work is just starting to hit home, all my personal reserves of cash are now dried up! I need more income and less outgoings, I suppose that is why we are all here though. This site does really motivate me.
    My list of money saving personal challenges for today are;
    1. Use food from the freezer and not buy any food today Yey, we had rice and burgers out of the freezer, egg fried rice which was left over from a takeaway and then fried with Garlic, mushrooms and onions, lush!
    2. Make a packed lunch for my only remaining son living at home -Done and all eaten with no complaints
    3. Take a packed lunch to workYep, and make a cheese and cauliflower soup using the frozen bits of a stilton and some frozen veg for tomorrow
    4. haggle about the parking ticket I got as I have a council parking passWritten the letter, will post tomorrow
    5. check my credit expert siteNow this was so scary, not been on it for months, two outstanding bills and no way of paying them this month, I'll need to look at that more thoroughly tomorrow
    6. dry washing outsideAll done!
    I kind of hope to do a little list of either big or little challenges each day, this motivated me when I was on the 10 positive steps challenge when I was really ill. I am now not ill but still need that kick up the bum that seeing things checked off a list will do for you:rotfl::rotfl:
    I also need to find some more of the great threads people post on here to follow.
    On a personal note, my relationship is going really well, I am lucky enough to have found a really kind man who I happen to really fancy, so all boxes are ticked!
    I haven't done so much craft stuff as I haven't had the time, but do aim to pick it up again!
    It's so nice to be back here, can't wait to see how everyone has been doing xxxx
