  • Can anyone post the full specifications of the Aldi one so I can see if there's a comparible product out there, or can anyone recommend from personal experience an alternative?.

The Aldi one is a Medion MD 41217 USB Graphics Tablet... I've been dabbling with it today in Photoshop and it's very impressive. Downside is the mouse provided isn't great, so I've abandoned that and am using it with my old mouse (roller wheel, etc).
  • Oh dear I was trying to resist this but after reading these write ups I can't any longer! Anyone out there know if Livingston still has these in stock? I can't find a phone number for them and don't want to waste a journey if they no longer have them in.

The QVC one looks a bit small, is the Aldi one bigger? Also Tesco have a small Trust one instore at about £25 but I think it is smaller than the Adli one.
  • They had loads available at the weymouth store and i considered getting one, though i thought it might be rubbish on the usability thingy but apparantly not will go buy me thinks
Money, Money, Money ..... Banks/Casinos/Bookies give me all you money its a poor mans world....
  • I cant get out to the Aldi stores, due to being housebound, and cant get anyone to go for me for several days by which time I'm sure they'll be sold out. I'm keen to get a cheapish but decent graphics tablet for my Mum for Xmas.. does anyone know of any others that are any good, which I can order elsewhere online?

I've seen a Nisis G3 one for around £30 and a Trust one for around £27 but cant seem to find any decent reviews to know if they are worth it?

I'd appreciate any help and advice!

    Thanks
  • dont buy any others they just wont be as good qualitiy as this one, i know this from experiance!!! this one is as good as a £300 quid wacom

  • I went to two stores this morning for one of these, but they'd gone to people queuing before the store opened.
If anyone can lay there hands on one , please let me know, and I will reimburse you. My 10 year old is desperate for one for Christmas and I can't afford the £60 that they want for them on Ebay.

The ebay resellers are the absolute scurge of our soceity, if I were prime minister I'd legislate to have them shot.

  • The Aldi by me

    stratford rd, birmingham

doesn't seem to have sold any. People who tend to live in areas where theres an aldi arent really arty types. I dont know why they keep getting them in, they must be losing money.

I got one for myself, its amazing quality and huge, resembles G4 mac stuff with its see through gummy feel.
    stay lucky!
    Steve.
  • Picked one up late this afternoon from Aldi in Eccles near Manchester. They had a couple of dozen on display.

Really nice gift for a great price.
Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you

I've had one for some time (medion one)

they're amazing.. Wolverhampton had them in for months after they last got them in so probably has them in again..

As someone said about stafford road, brum - it's not the kinda area where they'd be popular!
  • keiren have emailed you if you could pick one up for me would be very appriciated thanks
