    not sure what the charges are for this but better/easier than a cheque ?? (although I'm sure there must be better ways to tide you over , maybe someone else will come along with a better/cheaper idea)

  • Does anyone know if you pay a cheque through cashconverters does it come up on experian or equifax?

    Setting a bank account up can take a few days and if you're bankrupt or in debt then they won't do it any way so that's why someone would use the cheque cashing service. And paying through a friends account isn't possible because all the cheques these days are crossed.

    Basic bank accounts are open to virtually everyone. If you go into a branch of your chosen bank they will in most cases be able to open one there and then.
