You guys on here may not like the mince but at my local shop this morning, 4 out of 5 people at the checkout when I got there each had 6 packs (max) I was the odd man out with only 1 pack0

Plenty of mince here at 10 am.0

I normally buy their steak mince when on offer but this one is probably the best type to buy if you intend making burgers.
You need a bit of fat to keep the burger moist whilst cooking, plus it does drain off whilst cooking.
I have used steak mince in the past and the burgers weren't as tasty and were dry.0 -
Whatever happened to deals on fruit and veg?
I'm off to the stall to find something halfway healthy to snack on this week.
ETA: I did pop in this afternoon as I was passing, and was pleased to find big cucumbers for just 34p, also vine tomatoes were on offer. So were 12-packs of mince pies, just down from £1.89 to £1.49. These are usually short-dated, but the BBE was 16th Jan 13 so might be worth stocking up.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!
