how much epsom salt would i need?

Hi there I'm planning on making my mum some lovely vanilla bath salts after I couldn't find any in the shops.

I now can not find bags of epsom salts in the shops so i'm having to use ebay. Now my question is how much do you think i'll need? I'm rubbish with weights of stuff

I bought mine from the chemist counter in Tesco it was in quite a big box - 2kg and cost £4.79 - you would have plenty to spare for another one or two gifts of the same if you bought that size I am sure...
