Cat has bump in whisker area

Options
So just noticed tiger has a lump/bump by his whisker area.
He's in no pain he allows me to stroke it and he's eating and acting normally.
Someone said it could be an abcess.
Is it dangerous?dies it need bet treatment?
And how much will it cost?
If its still there Tomoz I will make an appointment.

    abscesses usually aren't dangerous, an anti-b injection can be enough, if it bursts, clean the area with warm salt water and cotton wool.

    the fur usually fall out in the affected area but grows back.

    occasionally if the abscess is very large it might need lancing and a few stitches.

    It really could be anything, a trip to your Vet would be the best thing. As for cost, sorry cant help with that one,
    I would be looking at £35/£40 mark at our Vets, that would include any meds needed. But thats just our Vets, they are all different. xx

    might have been a tick? my old cat used to get tiny white ticks on her face, i would pill them off with tweezers.
