Hi all just dropping to update me total £1340/5000. Last month was a good month for saving this month will be a bit more of a challenge as it's OH's 30th. He also has an interview for next week on his birthday as well, so fingers crossed.

The band didn't work out but I am onto my next one. I just need to meet them now....

Sorry I haven't popped by in so long - I can see you are determined and still doing really well! Good for you!
I am still plodding along with my debts. I've done very well this month, and just cannot wait to clear my credit card for once and for all.
Looking forward to joining you in the savings challenge some day very, very soon!

Hi everyone thanks for posting Castlelough!

The total so far stands at £1505/5000

I have had a work bonus so it's boosted the total a bit.

I also have a dental appointment next week so I have held some
money back for that.

I have also put some clothes on eBay. So fingers crossed some of it sells.

Hi everyone an update for everyone

I had a bonus again so I put a lot in this month but also got my teeth sorted and new glasses as well not bad this month.

OH still hasnt got any work a few interviews later.

Saving my Amazon vouchers for Bass Pedals as jamming with the last band made me feel I needed them

Youre doing really well gothrockchic.I find some months easier than others.Have achieved over £1000 out of the £6000 im aiming for but found it a bit of a struggle at times.Keep up the good work and youll have that £5000 before you know it!

Hi all time for an update!

£1702/ £5000 : j

Good news OH now has a temporary job. It's for eight weeks so that I get a reprieve from paying the bills

So I can properly save this challenge!

In other news I have applied for a course in HR and hope to fund the course via a 0% credit card and paying the minimum off. I have an interview this Friday.

The plan is coming together ....
