Hi,
Perhaps this is a stupid question, but here goes.....
Where can i find the rate of exchange charged by Nationwide for cash machine withdrawals in Europe? I have been searching their webiste but found nothing, i thought they would have it advertised, and update it daily or something??????????????

Nationwide do not set their rates - they are bound by the rates set by the card operator (in the case of the FlexAccount, Visa). You can check the Visa rates here:
http://www.corporate.visa.com/pd/consumer_services/consumer_ex_rates.jspLet's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks
On a rotating plate, with spikes like Flash Gordon
And you're Peter Duncan; I gave you fair warning0 -
Not published though are normally very good... better than changing cash!0

Just found this thread. I want to know the Visa rate for the Croatian Kuna but it is not listed. Any ideas?
On another note. Does Nationwide cover Croatia as European or Worldwide?
Maybe this thread should be moved to the currency forum. Don't shoot me, I just resurrected it.0 -
Must say have recently returned from Majorca
used my Nationwide flex card to get euro's out (the correct way as well)
and was slightly disappointed with the exchange rate we got
expected it to be higher, from memory the local rate was 112, we got 115
in the passt could of sworn it was higher (roughly 5 euros)0 -
benjus link is the best one, used it loads of times and got the same rate0

Croatia visa fee will be 0.84% as it's out of the visa Europe region according to Nationwide site.
I have used my Nationwide Flex card in many countries at ATM's and have always had the business rate of exchange and have never been charged by the bank I am drawing from for the transaction, last time I used it was the end of June in Greece.0 -

.84% is a small price I suppose.0
