I checked and it's still there - don't know why you couldn't see it. Maybe try this direct link instead: http://www.centaurshows.co.uk/cgi-bin/start.cgi/files/diy/freereg.html?pageref=100222&pricecat=f&venue=g

What's the best way to get to the NEC?

    Is parking easy ?
    Does it cost ?
What public trainsport options are there ?

Parking is very easy at the NEC - they direct you to an NEC carpark (which are vast) then free shuttle buses take you to the shows door - they seem to run constantly through the day. Last year it cost £7 per car. We got there early which was good as later on there seemed to be queues for the free buses.

ps if you go by car - my tip is to take a distinctive colourered duster and tie it to your aerial as it makes finding your car again much easier!!!

I think if you go by train you get off at Birmingham International. I'm pretty sure that there are either free shuttle buses, or walkways to the Halls.

It's quite big - useful I'd say if your interested in building a house, or installing some major stuff (e.g. central vacuuming). There are lots of stuff about construction methods: bricks, roofing, insulation, triple glazed windows - expecially good for building an eco home. The free seminars are excellent.

Not so useful if you're just thinking of small renovations - but we did get some useful discounts e.g. 15% of Wickes. Got lots of freebies e.g. promotional pens, rubber brick, pack of mints, etc..

Hi, we went up to this on Friday - it was ok - but you can get around it in probably about 2 hours -so not worth a huge amount of travelling.
It's in halls 18 -20 at the NEC - there is a £7 parking charge & the free buses are really frequent - the North car parks are only about a 5 minute walk to the Halls that it's in - so aim for those if you go!
