Not generally discounted afaik - they are pretty exclusive. Ernest Jones is probably your best place on the high street.

You could look here, http://www.blitzwatches.co.uk/ I think they are grey imports so only covered by vendors guarantee.
This shop seems okay in the web reports I read but watch out some other discounters grind off serial numbers.

    Good luck

    Hi,
I have always found if you ask you can get between 12-17% discount from your local rolex dealer. The rolex mens sports watches (explorer, daytona etc) are a rarer so they are less keen to do a deal, but if they have one in stock and you are going to be a regular client they can be persuaded. Just make an offer.

A while back my friend actually flew to Geneva to buy a Rolex on a cheapo Easyjet flight. Flight, accomodation, etc AND the watch was cheaper than buying it from the UK. He did do a fair amount of research before hand before heading over though!

What about pre-owned...(alright...second-hand!). Lots of people trade in their old ones to get a different/latest model so some jewellers then sell the traded in ones. I got mine this way about four years ago and saved about £500. It was a current model then, (styles don't change that frequently) and is still being sold today.

First time I read that, thought, what???

However I think you mean by that that he didn't pay duty for the watch?
