Hi

Does anyone know where I can send our old Sky boxes?

We have 3.

Does anyone recycle them for cash?

Car boot sale or e-bay,I've bought a couple for friends who's boxes are borked, a tenner for a standard box with remote & leads.

about £39 the hd+ ones sell for, postage use city link its £8
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

I'm in the same situation and I'm going to send mine back to Sky as I found this useful link: http://help.sky.com/my-account/your-sky-equipment/recycle-your-old-sky-equipment

Unless someone can suggest a way of making money from it myself? Would anyone be interested in buying an old box?

Please don't just give them back to Sky - they have enough money already.

If you're considering giving them away, do so on Freecycle or Freegle.

    Please.
Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.
