Payplan debt settlements
Hi, Oh has got a lump sum to use to pay off some of his debts on his DMP with Payplan, around a fifth of the value. We don't expect to clear all of these but 3/4 creditors would be nice. After speaking to the advisor from PayPlan we are a little confused, what we thought were full and final settlements are only partial…

Not sure which direction to take!!!
Hi all, I'm new to this so please bear with me. I currently owe £8500 across various (super high interest) credit cards, the re-payments are all done by DD so are payed by the due date, long story short this is sending me more overdrawn each month (currently £2500). Any advice would be gratefully accepted :)

Debts in Scotland, Moved to England
What is the process when a debt is created in Scotland and the debtor moves to England? Do the DCAs and Debtors go through the Scottish system for collection and debt management because the debts originated there or does the residency of the debtor mean that the English system should be used?

DFW advice for your younger self?
As my 30th birthday approaches, I want to reach out to lots of people and get their take on life and the universe, and who better than the DFW family? Some of you may only be a few months past 30 and some another 30 years past 30. I wanted to ask you if there was something you wish you would have known at 30. Is there…

Question about DMP
I'm on a debt management plan... I live with my partner. If in the future we were to marry, would this affect the debt management plan at all? Thanks :) Edit: Just to add, the debts are in my name, not joint.
