Cash ISA provider protection
I'm looking to stick £20k in a cash ISA and see that among the top picks on MSE are Moneybox, Chip and Zopa, none of whom are names with which I'm familiar. Does anyone know if these three are authorised by either the FCA or FSCS (or whoever)? Thanks for any assistance/info.

Consolidating cash ISAs
Must consolidated cash ISAs never exceed a combined total of £20K, or can I consolidate two or more £20K ISAs, perhaps including a new one for the current 24/25 year?

ISA Terms and conditions
An ISA provider has this term (for a fixed term ISA) "I have not subscribed and will not subscribe to another cash ISA in the same tax year that I subscribe to this
Cash ISA." I have another fixed term ISA which does not mature for a few months and I will want to transfer that to the best rate I can. Am I allowed to do…

UPDATE: ISA Transfer - they lost my money! 😖 (Do you lose interest when switching?)
I have recently transferred my Cash ISA for a higher rate. But this process is taking a long time. And its still not complete. Do you I lose the interest on that ISA for the interim period? I hadnt factored that and it would be a significant amount of interest.... TIA

ISA withdrawals, which financial year's ISA is it taken from?
My partner and I each have ISAs, now with 3 years of savings in them, so going back to the tax year 2022/23. This has never happened to us before! Unfortunately we will probably need to withdraw most of the money next year, as we'll be buying a house. I don't know if this is a silly question, but when you request the…

Opening a new Cash ISA (Zopa)
I like to get paid interest on the 1st of the month to better manage my finances, and this means I need to open an account on the 1st of the month. I was wondering what the process is like for opening a Cash ISA? Are they the same as opening a savings account but with NI number and other bits? Would there be any delays?

Tembo LISA allowance not updating to new tax year
The Tembo (previously Nude) app is saying I've used up my £4,000 allowance for this financial year, that it will renew on 6 April 2025 and I can't make a contribution. But it's wrong as I haven't contributed anything this financial year (aka since 6 April 2024) but I want to!Anyone else getting the same error?

Selecting provider for 25/25 tax year cash ISA
Hi-Couple of questions please. 1. Notice ISA account-these tend to have higher rate but the rate is variable so you are at mercy of the provider. I hope not hit they can drop the rate down and then you are stuck for 60/90days. Anybody use these accounts and am I worrying too much abt sudden interest rate drop? I don't know…

ISA question
I opened a 1 year fixed rate ISA with NatWest last July so it is due to mature this July. However, as the new tax year has just started and allowance reset to £20k, can I add into this fixed rate ISA for the remainder of it's term before the rate drops? If so, can I do this only once or make multiple deposits? I know you…

Problems transferring principality ISA
I saved 20k into a principality variable cash ISA last tax year and another 20k this tax year. I now want to transfer the entire balance (40k plus interest) into one of the top one year fixed ISAs, which are as of today with Zopa and Virgin money. Having tried this, neither Zopa nor Virgin accept transfers from…

Any more providers ?
Are people aware of (m)any providers who have still to announce their fixed rates for 2024/5? (Oaknorth?) ..... or is it time to jump with Shawbrook while it's available, particularly since I noticed lastyear that the leapfrogging to reach the 'top of the table' was only in increments of 0.0001 which is worth £1.65 per…
