CIS changes from 6th APril 2007
We have a small joinery/building business. I recieved a letter this morning regarding the changes to the CI, saying that Registration Cards, Tax Certificates and Vouchers will no longer be used. Best diary planner for self-employed PA?
Hi all, I visit clients daily and make notes re taska and timings for each clients on the work carried out, which I then use to compile my invoices. I am finding my pocket Filofax may need to be upgraded to something more business orientated rather than personal use - a day to day schedule with calls to make, time slots,…

I moved into a office building last year, shared with three other businesses where we all pay a % proportion to Rates & utilities direct to the landlord & as I'm not VAT registered I noticed that the landlord has charged VAT @ 17.5% on my share of Business rates & utility bills. Is this…

Job Title.
I have started my own business as sole trader, but just realised that I haven't given myself a job title. What is the difference between company director or Chief Exec. If an employee has made unauthorised purchases and charged them to the company, and then used the good for her own personal use, is the company obligated to pay the bills for these goods (which would not have been ordered or used by the company in any event)?
