Im revitalised :)
Just wanted to share with people who understand, rather than just an "oh right, ok" and think its odd ;) To cut a long story short, i was getting a little disheartened by all the money saving and was beginning to slip (you know, buying sandwiches at lunch etc) But then my Grandma, completely out of the blue, gave me a…

A new wave of 'help' requests
I have noticed recently that a few poeple on this board are posting complaining that lenders will not freeze interest, fees etc etc simply by being asked 1st time. To begin for a lender, there must be reasons for them to justify this. They dont lend cash for free. I no longer work for a bank, and work tirelessley for other…

Best Bank Accounts with O/D facilities
I graduated over 2 years ago - and in that time my free overdraft has been cut from £1500 to £500 (fortunately the 1k is still there, fee free but at about 9.9%). Given the low interest rate it's the last of my debts I want to clear, but for various reasons (like hating HSBC over many things) I really want to change bank.…

Booze free wannabee...support needed
Decided to test myself and give it up for 100 days. No particular reason - not really a big drinker. More they type who goes to the off licence to buy a beer, realises it works out cheaper per can to buy 24 than it is to by 4, then makes a pig of himself and drinks more than he should. Don't think I have a drink problem…
