TV for university
Hi, I'm buying my niece a tv for her university room. I'm unsure if this will connect to WiFi or will I need a portable aerial. If I need an aerial are these any good these days? I seem to remember years ago they weren't. I'd appreciate any advice, thanks

Freesat
We are cancelling Sky Q. Does anyone have Freesat with a Sky dish? Is it easy to set up? I understand we have to have a 4K Freesat box to work with our Sky Q satellite dish

Cancel Sky and partner becomes a new customer.
Sky have sent my partner a renewal notice, with 1 month to go, with a 40% increase from £45/mth to £63.50. She is a VIP customer with 12 years loylaty. The VIP "service/benefits" really offers nothing to us. A new customer will get a similar package (Sky essentials rather than Signature) for £33/mth for 18 months. We spent…

MPLC License for B&B/self catering?
Do I need an MPLC licence for a B&B with a self catering attached? There are TVs in the rooms but we’re not showing anything to the public as such - not like a sports bar or similar. Any guidance? (We’re based in Scotland in case it’s relevant)

Cancelled Sky - Any 12 month contract deals?
Put in my cancellation for Sky TV today. Broadband will follow soon when I sign up to a new provider. Going to go to Freesat/Now TV which will all work out at about half the cost of what sky offers and with no contract. What they offered me today as I was leaving wasn't low enough either. There is a chance that we might be…

Sky price increase letter avoiding giving me the actual new price
Today I received a letter from Sky regarding "another 12 months of savings." In the letter, they provide a breakdown of my annual savings and show how much I'm saving on each part of my package both monthly and annually. However, the letter doesn't actually mention the new price. It sort of suggests that nothing has…

Sky Stream + Superfast broadband offer
Choosing the offer of £36 a month on the MSE website takes you to a page on the Sky website where it also states '... Superfast free for your first 9 months'. I wonder if that means that the price will rise after 9 months?

We have long resisted Sky Q and still have happily used HD+ and old HD box hence multi room. Just had email re new contract and wonderful savings, which actully are £5 month more. But basically 18mth ago was told it limited us with savings having old equpment and old HD had no discounts savings. I am somewhat confused by a…

Thinking of leaving Sky - advice please. (already have Firestick / streaming subscription)
I'm paying £46 for a bare minimum Sky HD+ box (Not Sky Q) package. No sports, no movies, just the standard Sky channels, which seems pretty steep when compared to what new customers get it for. It should be the other way around - someone who's been with Sky for 30 years should get a better deal than a new customer! But…

Disney+ Gift card
I have purchased a gift card at the current price of £79.99 that does currently entitle me to the very best Disney+ can offer. My question is if I activate this Gift card post November 1st does this entitle me to the premium 4k tier, or just the 1080, no ads tier?

Haggling with Sky regarding tv/broadband contract
Renewed my Sky tv/broadband contract just the other day. After ringing customer services and getting no joy, I was put through to (I’m guessing) customer retention’s. Sky had put my bill up to £140 starting in September, previously it was £103. The person I spoke to was extremely helpful and got my bill down to £96 which…
