Iceland fresh milk changed from 4 pint to 2 litre carton
Does anyone know why Iceland milk is now in 2 litre cartons instead of 4pints? (My arithmetic is not good but it looks as if 2 litres at £1.35 is cheaper than 4 pints at £1.45) Maybe it is a reduced price for a short time but I did not notice the difference until I got home and noticed the smaller amount of milk.

Lidl App
Is anyone else confused with the Lidl App? I have been shopping in Lidl for years but chose not to sign up for the app as I am fed up with supermarkets trying to extract personal data from their customers. Today Lidl had their usual fruit and veg offers on display and I picked up some reduced blueberries. Further into the…

Flora Buttery big change to ingredients
Just compared a tub of Flora Buttery in the supermarket with one I already have in the fridge. It's been completely re-formulated (and they make a big thing about this in their publicity!) so now it doesn't contain palm oil. It also now has no buttermilk, but instead has coconut fat and "faba bean preparation" whatever…

Which foods do you have trouble finding nowadays? (No call for it?? We still eat it!!)
Just noticed a recent post about difficulties tracking down evaporated milk. I must say we buy that a lot less nowadays, but which foods do you still love? We’re going to go to the trouble today of making our own steak & kidney pudding. Not so easy to find ready-made ones nowadays. (The canteen in our local hospital used…

Tesco points
We used to get money-off vouchers from Tesco based on how much we'd spent. We haven't received any since last year and I can't find anything on the website that mentions vouchers. It just talks about points. I have no clue how we're supposed to use these. We don't do days out or chain restaurant meals. What are we supposed…

"Co-op Member Prices" now available across different co-op societies - in part
Much news reporting about "the Co-op" generally refers to The Co-operative Group, who own the vast majority - but by no means not all - Co-op shops across the UK. There are plenty of other co-op societies running stores too, which are supplied by Co-op Group as their wholesaler but independently owned by a local…

Iceland Bonus Card Problems?
I looked to take advantage of the £20 bonus that was offered if you had £100 in the account by the end of November last year which I did. I have only used the card, maybe once, spending circa £20, earlier this year. I was in store today, and when I presented my card for payment I was told there is nothing, nada, zero on…
