Interest rates on ISA
One year easy access accounts are paying better than fixed accounts. Is it best to open an easy access one now at 4.85% or a fixed one at a lower rate and protect against interest rate drops in the next year .

Flexible cash ISA
Hi all, I currently have £50,000 in a flexible cash ISA. If I withdraw £35,000 during this tax year, can I subsequently re-contribute the full £35,000 or only this year's tax free allowance of £20,000? Many thanks Dooshy

Shawbrook FR ISA
Thinking of taking out a ISA with Shawbrook but a little nervous as I have always stuck with the older traditional banks etc before. Is there anything I need to be aware of about using them, are they easy to use and manage accounts with. Many thanks.

LISA queries
Hi, sorry if these may sound like silly questions but I'm just wanting to make sure I've got this right in my head before I go ahead with it. My wife and I are 39, will turn 40 this coming November 24 and January 25 respectively. We've recently just finished an IVA and want to get on the housing market as quickly as…

As far I'm aware you can't invest into crypto in ISAs. Please do let me know if I'm wrong

Transferring to a new ISA with the same provider
Does anyone know if banks generally allow you to transfer to one of their newer products with a better rate (and also put new money in)? All the 'transfer talk' is of moving to a new provider, but actually all I want to do is move my money to their newer product! Specifically, Cynergy bank new ISA rate is 5% whereas I'm…

Child trust fund and JISA
It appears that my child has both a child trust fund and a junior isa. The lady at the bank said she shouldn't have both, but offered no further advice. Accounts are with different banks. Does anyone know if I need to do anything or will this be OK?

Stocks ISA to Cash ISA
I have a Stocks and Shares ISA worth £80k, and another fixed term cash ISA worth £21k that is maturing next week. I would like to transfer them both to an easy access cash ISA, that pays interest monthly and use the monthly interest for everyday use. I can also add £20k new money at the same time. I estimate the interest…

Shawbrook FR ISA deposit
Hi Min deposit for the FR ISA is £1,000. On their website they say:- We're not part of the confirmation of payee scheme, so your bank may tell you this when you try and make a payment. It's nothing to worry about. For peace of mind, you may wish to make a small 'test' payment of £1. Once the payment has processed, you'll…

Open banking / ISA transfer
Hi, anyone having problems trying to use both Moneybox and ,or Plum platform? The rates for EA ISA are really good but they both managed by app that links and connects to chosen bank account. Additional Permitted Subs ISA - Transfer process
Hi all. I'm in the process of setting up an APS ISA for my Mum for her to inherit my Dad's ISAs. He had two, a cash one and a stocks & shares one. Am I correct in thinking that his S&S ISA provider does not transfer the money directly? So the S&S ISA provider will notify the APS ISA provider of the account value and then…

The easy access ISAs where it says 'rate drops to...after 12 mths'
eg Plum, Moneybox, Zopa, Post office. So does that mean the rate is guaranteed to be above the rate it will drop down to until 12 months are up? The PO ISA says it has a 3.35% bonus (on top of 1.55%) for 12 months so doesn't that mean it will be 4.9% for 12 months????

Anyone transferred a cash isa to Zopa?
A few weeks back someone posted that their transfer to Zopa had failed. Apparently this was due to a fault in Zopa's system whereby it couldn't accept an amount that differed to that declared during the opening process but on closing the transferring account, interest gets added thus resulting in a discrepancy between the…

Can you transfer a fixed-rate ISA to an easy-access one before maturity?
Hi, This might sound like a weird question but I was wondering if you can transfer a fixed-rate ISA to an easy-access one before maturity. I've currently got a really good rate of 5.7% with Virgin Money, which is giving me around £49 in interest each month. The ISA is due to mature in August. I understand that I'd be…

Transfer in to Tesco 1 year fix
I'm thinking of opening the Tesco 1 year fix with initial funding from other savings. I have a Santander fix that matures on 1st May that I'd like to transfer in to Tesco at that point, but one of the Tesco conditions is that funding has to be complete within 30 days of opening. Given the current thread on the large…
