How do I draft proof my house?
I have an exposed three bedroom bungalow, about 30 years old and its very drafty.. We tried closing the vents on the widow frames to reduce this, but the house filled with moisture, which started to make things moldy. Any advice for a DIY novice on how to draft proof my house?

Propane Gas - Current prices??
What prices are people currently paying and from which supplier? I live in rural Derbyshire, buy bulk Propane from Shell Gas and my current price is 35.5ppl. When I contacted another firm in the past they wouldn't offer as it is Shell Gas' tank leased to me. Think there are still no bulk/Bottled Gas comparison sites…

Blocking off a chimney (temporarily)
I have two rooms with open fires downstairs. Whichever room doesn't have the fire on (usually the back room) gets a huge down draft of cold air. I was thinking of temporarily blocking that chimney at the bottom with a bit of ply with a closable vent in it. Are there any issues with doing this?

Hi, I have had problems with my heating since I moved into my home about 8 months ago. underfloor heating - is it any good?
We are having a conservatory built and are considering underfloor heating.
