Mysterious Nowtel Direct Debit - no emails
I have only just noticed a direct debit has gone out of my bank account fir the last 2 months. With no notification whatsoever from 'Nowtel' I sense I possibly took up a low or free offer 6 months ago. Who would it be. I did not even even use the sim. Seems a bit naughty, them sneaking it through at the end of an…

Hi all Looking for advice on what to do when going cruising in terms of sim cards. Previously I've done it as a family, but this year it will be as a single parent. Therefore daily or alternative day calls will be needed with ex partner. I've been cruising before so I know they have wifi on board, but its silly prices so…

Mismatch between O2 mobile prices on MSE comparison site, and O2 website
On MSE's cheap mobile finder website ([MSE url]/cheap-mobile-finder/sim-only/#newcustomersonly -- sorry not allowed to post links) the prices (for O2) are shown much lower than they actually are. When I click on "Get deal" I get to the O2 website with ~2x higher prices. Does this happen to anyone else? Below are…

BT Mobile to EE switch - be wary of recontracting / EU roaming change
I called BT to see if I could renegotiate my fibre broadband price. No go there as it’s still in contract. Unprompted by me the BT advisor then said that he’d noticed I had a BT Mobile SIM only plan (I use it for data only in a 4G mobile router) and that as BT were switching all BT Mobile users to EE, he’d arrange that…

3G Switch Off - Get Out Of Jail Free?
Thought I'd post this for anyone in similar situation. I'm on Vodafone, recently they turned off 3G in my area and despite the claims of 3G radio frequencies being used to improve 4G and 5G**, my service became pretty unusable. Mobile internet was useless and I frequently could not make or receive calls. Rang up support…

1pMobile - data only 'boosts' no longer available?
I just noticed that data only 'boosts' are no longer available on 1pMobile I've always used a 1Gb boost that lasts a month and costs £3. Luckily, I've got it set to recurring, so that seems to be carrying on. But if you want to take out a new one, all that I can see available is 1Gb + unlimited sms+calls for £5.

No 5g on ID Mobile
I took out a contract with ID Mobile recently, advertised as a 5g network, but my 5g phone does not receive 5g. It works perfectly fine on other networks. ID Mobile does not make it clear on it's website, when it says customers will receive a 5g signal, that this is restricted to handsets on its approved list. Has anyone…
