Can I claim for damages against a car repair firm for refusing to honour their 2-year warranty?
Can anyone help? I had a new exhaust ‘fitted’
just over a year ago by a well-known Nationwide auto care company. From day one
I had problems as it was fitted with very little ground clearance. They tried and
failed to rectify, but for me some other more important life events took over
and this was not my priority.…

Accident. Legally, whose at fault?
Hiya, Had a little accident this morning. Wasn't my fault but wondered if legally it wasn't my fault. I was turning right into a car park. There was a stationary car waiting to pull out of car park. As I turned in I passed the car and our wing mirrors didn't touch so there was space between us. I then heard a crunch…

Hi all, Looking at putting in claim for a really deep pothole. The appropriate council have asked for letter of interest from my insurer, and they won't process without. I would like to say Happy Sunday but it is a bit bitter. I have been unsettled since the morning of the 6th February. Somebody stole the infotainment system and the media display from my car! Unresolved claim affecting insurance price

Insurer being difficult on no fault accident
Any advice please? I had a no fault accident and my car was written off. My insurers used the words ‘no fault’ throughout the claim process and also waived my excess for this reason. However, a month later my renewal is due. My insurers are saying I must declare this as an at FAULT accident until they can claim costs from…

Drunk driver crashed into my parked car
A drunk driver crashed into my parked car and was arrested. It turns out that we share the same insurer but the insurance company is saying we should process our claim through our own policy as they need unspecified information from the police to process the claim through the drunk driver's policy and they cannot give us a…

Saturday 13 April I am a

Car Insurance after vehicle stolen
Hi, Can somebody help me with this please? My son's car was stolen, he cancelled his insurance policy and he's now been told that he has to pay the remainder of the policy because his payments were monthly, not lump sum up front, and it was in effect a loan. Is that correct? Surely he shouldn't be paying insurance for a…
