I'm travelling next Jan-March (56 days) to Barbados re spending money is it cheapest to get travellers cheques in U.S$( take a small amount of barb $) or load up a prepaid card or use a Halifax card reccomended by martin.

Cheaper Alternative to Van Hire?
I am moving from Birmingham to Glasgow and I need to get minimal belongings up there. I have looked into hiring a van and between the hire and fuel costs it will cost around £500!!! The ryanair website is as clear as mud about checking in a 2nd bag with the terms and conditions at odds with the website. If i add a 2nd checked bag, do i gain an extra 15kg weight allowance or does the allowance still stay at 15kg spread over 2 bags.
